Please note that the Private Hire of the pool now requires a FULLY QUALIFIED LIFEGUARD on duty at all times at a cost of $30 per hour, plus a $30 cleaning fee. If a lifeguard is unavailable to supervise your event date or time, you may be unable to hire the pool, we will let you know the outcome of your request as soon as possible.

I understand and agree to the following pool rules and conditions and will do everything possible to ensure that all people attending this event will follow these rules.
RULES
(these are to ensure the safety of all persons using the pools)
Children under ten years of age must be accompanied by an adult 18 year or over.
No glassware or glass bottles are permitted on the premises.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
No alcohol is permitted on the premises.
Swimmers must shower prior to entering the water for the first time.
No running on concrete perimeter of pools.
No running dives, back flips or bomb dives.
No rough play, pushing, dunking or unnecessary interference with other swimmers.
No indecent or offensive language or behaviour.
All persons are to abide by the instructions from and decisions of the person in charge and the lifeguard without question.
Conditions:
The permit holder agrees to indemnify and to keep indemnified the Northern Areas Council, it's servants and agents and each of them from and against all actions, costs, claims, damages, charges and expenses whatsoever which may be brought or made or claimed against them or any of them arising out of or in relation to the issuing of the permit.
The permit holder shall take out and keep current a public risk insurance policy in the name of the permit holder insuring the permit holder for the minimum sum of ten million dollars ($10,000,000) against all actions, costs, claims, damages, charges and expenses whatsoever which may be brought or made or claimed against the permit holder in relation to the activity.
The permit holder, where appropriate, shall ensure that it is licensed or registered to carry out the activity authorised by the issuing of this permit.
The permit holder shall proved adequate supervision and ensure the supervisors have first aid qualifications.
The permit holder must provide conformation of insurance to the Northern Areas Council.
The permit holder shall ensure that the site is left in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the event. Failure to do so will result in a cleaning fee being charged.
The permit holder must inform NAC of any breakages or malfunctions occured during the usage.
